Can I also use ultraFLEX PRO with stretchers from other manufacturers?

The approval only applies to ultraMEDIC rescue stetchers, as ultraFLEX PRO has only been tested for these. The application and compatibility of all components and parts with the rescue stretchers are tested.

Is special education/training required to use ultraFlex PRO?

ultraFLEX PRO can be used by any trained person with experience in abseiling people.

What requirements are placed on the inspector for the regular visual inspection?

As ultraFLEX PRO is approved as a medical device, it may be inspected annually by any person who is aware of the implications of the decision in accordance with the Medical Device Operator Ordinance. An additional qualification in accordance with DGUV principle 312-906 is an advantage.

Is the application also authorised on the turntable ladder?

ultraFLEX PRO is intended for use on an approved anchor point, a rescue or abseiling device for personal use. If the turntable ladder has a corresponding option, use is permitted.

What is the separate snap hook on the storage bag for?

The pulley system built into the ultraFLEX PRO can be removed from the system for applications where there is limited space between the anchor point and the stretcher. The additional carabiner is required to attach the foot-side straps to the rigging plate. Adjustment in the vertical position is still possible with restrictions.

Can I adjust ultraFLEX PRO in one axis only?

The individual strands of ultraFLEX PRO can be lengthened or shortened, even under load. This allows individual adjustment in each axis to ensure that the stretcher is positioned as gently as possible for the patient.

Can I clean the transport suspension if it gets very dirty during use?

If ultraFLEX PRO has become heavily soiled during use, it can be washed by hand with mild detergents. The system must then be packed completely dry in the storage bag to prevent corrosion and mould growth.

The CONREST rescue stretcher allows the rapid rescue of accident victims from hard-to-reach and confined spaces. The short design secures the patient's head, spine, pelvis and arms thanks to a particularly thick and stabilising belt strap construction. With its many grips, CONREST offers rescuers and emergency crews numerous options for moving accident victims out of the danger zone. Special attachments can also be secured to the carrying loops. These can be linked to a mobile attachment system that allows accident victims to be rescued from a sewer shaft, for example. A clear colour system ensures rapid handling: all of the attachment points are marked in orange. CONREST has a stable and solid skid plate that ensures the safe movement of the patient over edges or obstacles.
